The Hog Wild Festival returns to historic downtown Brookhaven on May 5th. The Hog Wild Festival is a family festival loaded with vendors, entertainment and most importantly, the BBQ Cookoff. New for 2018, will be a Friday night steak competition cookoff, with entry open to the public.
The Festival is a Kansas City Barbeque Society Official Sanctioned Event with $9,000 in prize money! The Pro-Division includes all classes and judging (chicken, ribs, brisket and pork butts) will take place at noon. The youth class is chicken and ribs only, and the judging will begin at 2:30pm. Proceeds from the event go to the member volunteer fire departments in Lincoln County. We hope to see you in downtown Brookhaven for a weekend full of fun and entertainment!
