Downtown Jazzed Up
The Brookhaven Tourism Council is excited to host the 7th Annual Downtown Jazzed Up Mardi gras event in beautiful downtown Brookhaven! The event will take place on Saturday, Feb 3 from 1-6pm. We will have bounce houses, 360° photo booth, train rides, and face painting from 1-4:30pm! There will be live jazz music on the railroad park stage from 1-6pm and the second line parade will begin in front of the post office at 5pm.
A second line parade is when spectators join or follow in as the parade passes. Groups are not only welcome but encouraged to follow along, allowing the second line to grow as it marches. Bikes, golf carts and dogs are also welcome in the parade! We will have plenty of mardi gras beads and throws for those in attendance.
We are excited about our music lineup that will take place from 1-6pm on the railroad park stage.
