Hog Wild Barbecue Cook Off and Family Festival
Join us for the 2016 Hog Wild Barbecue Cook-off and Family Festival sponsored by the Lincoln County Volunteer Firefighters Association on May 28th! The fun can be found in beautiful Downtown Brookhaven Saturday morning in Railroad Park. There will be vendors, entertainment and of course, great BBQ!
This year, the Hog Wild Festival is a Kansas City Barbecue Society Official Sanctioned Event with $9,000 in prize money! Hog Wild is the biggest fundraiser for the volunteer fire departments in Lincoln County, and all proceeds go toward meeting each station’s needs.
Spend time walking around downtown Brookhaven and sampling BBQ from the dozens of cookers. This is a wonderful opportunity to check out Brookhaven if you haven’t already. Go ahead and book your accommodations today, by checking our “stay” page!
The Pro-Division includes all classes and judging (for chicken, ribs, brisket and pork butts) will take place at noon. The youth class is chicken and ribs only, and the judging will begin at 2:30pm.
