Brookhaven Little theatre will be showing a double feature this Saturday to kick off Winter break.  All families, individuals, and students are invited to this wonderful tradition held at the Haven Theatre each year. The first movie, Elf, will be shown at 4 p.m., followed by “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” at 7 p.m.

“Elf” is a Christmas comedy released in 2003 and features Will Ferrell (Buddy), James Caan, and Bob Newhart. The movie shows a journey of how Buddy sees that he is not fit for the North Pole and he finally discovers his true identity in the United State.

“National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” is a 1989 Christmas comedy and stars Chevy Chase, Beverly DeAngelo, and Randy Quaid. It is about the adventures of a typical American family Christmas vacation.

The Haven Theatre concessions will be open and serving pizza. They ask that each person provide a $5 donation. For more information about the showing, contact the Brookhaven Little Theatre at 601-669-1878 or visit brookhavenlittletheatre.com.
