Driving Miss Daisy Presented by the Brookhaven Little Theatre
Alfred Uhry’s groundbreaking and inspiring, Driving Miss Daisy graces the Brookhaven Little Theatre stage when we “take a drive” with the lovable and charismatic African-American chauffeur and his rich but elderly employer as they share similar struggles and heartaches over the course of 30 years. Both dealing with mass amounts of discrimination and targeting with their African and Jewish heritage, they find comfort in their rides together and discover that two vastly different worlds can come together and find decency and a very real sense of unconditional friendship.
Driving Miss Daisy will be at the Brookhaven Little Theatre in downtown Brookhaven on September 29th and 30th at 7:30pm and October 1,6,7 and 8.
Bring the kids or some good friends and have a merry time! Tickets are $20. For ticket information call 601-990-2243.
