It is almost time for Brookhaven’s 52^nd annual Charity Ball event! This is the lone annual fundraiser for the Krewe of Ceres which donates money to local charities each year. This year’s event will be held at the Lincoln Civic Center in Brookhaven on Saturday, February 23^rd. Dress is cocktail dresses for women and jackets for men. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the procession will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the party will rock on until midnight. The presentation of the court — 10 maids and their escorts — will be followed by the revelation of this year’s king and queen that evening as well.
