Storm Avenue Fourth of July Block Party

The best patriotic party in town is back in 2018 for its 3rd annual throwback to the old school Storm Ave Fourth. Featured this year: Various inflatable water slides, watermelon seed spitting, dunking booth, snowballs, fresh berry parfaits, patriotic photo booth, passenger train, and much more. Those attending this year can come around 4:00 PM to play and get parade ready, then gather on the Church St end of Storm Ave. around 5:15 PM. The parade will be shortly after crowds gather and will end around the intersection of Byrd St and Storm Ave. Here we will have a potluck dinner buffet with hamburgers and hot dogs provided by Farm Bureau Ins. Bring your family, a lawn chair, your kids’ bikes, and don’t forget to bring a side or dessert if attending the event! Festivities will go on until dark. Come be reminded why you love Brookhaven and remember what a southern summer is all about! See you on the Fourth!
