Christmas Open House
Thirty-one members of the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce are participating in this year’s Christmas Open House, which will be Saturday, November 10th from 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Many merchants offer holiday refreshments as well as store specials. The open house is a good time to get deals and gorgeous Christmas decorations! During the event, local stores set their own discounts and have their own events. Come on out and shop with us!
Christmas Parade
The annual Brookhaven Christmas Parade will be Thursday, November 29th at 6:30pm. Brookhaven’s Christmas parade has been around for over 50 years. This will be a magical night filled with Christmas lights, hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and the beautiful backdrop of Downtown Brookhaven. This year’s parade theme is A Story Book Christmas! The parade will feature marching bands and emergency vehicle brigades! There will be over 25 floats and 100 individual entries. Make sure you stay for the end of the parade to see a special appearance by Santa in his sleigh! Entry forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce. This is going to be a night of fun and entertainment for the entire family.
Movie on the Lawn
The Movie on the Lawn will be December 1st on MSA’s campus starting at 5pm. MSA students will sing Christmas Carols, TUBA Christmas will perform, and Santa will be there for family photo ops! A Christmas movie will begin at 6pm, and the Chamber of Commerce will provide free refreshments. This will be a fun, family community event so make plans to join us!
