JOIN US for a benefit concert in downtown Brookhaven’s Trinity Park from 11am-6pm on April 30. The concert is to benefit Summer Conn Prestridge, recently diagnosed with ALS.
We (the Loyd Star graduating class of 1999 and local musician Tony Norton) want to help her and her young daughters in the hard times ahead with this serious illness. Money will go towards modifying her house, buying a van, food, bills and to take care of her daughters in the coming days.
There will be donation booths on site and volunteers will also be walking around with buckets to collect donations. T-shirts with the hashtag #AlwaysLoveStrong will also be for sale. There is no admission and this is a family-friendly event. Trinity Park is connected to The Church of the Redeemer in downtown Brookhaven across from the library at 224 W. Monticello Street.
Concessions available: hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks.
The concert will feature the following acts:
Shaw Furlow
Cole Furlow
Mississippi Goodnight
Julie St. Ripling
Tony Norton
Daniel Brogden
Charlie Hewitt and the Hewitt Family Band
Headlining and close out the day:
The Cotten Bridge Band
